Side A — Who She Is
01

The Origin

Every branch of the SAvvy brand grows from one root idea: Finding Your Frequency — Stop Playing Small and Start Living Life at Full Volume. The DJ career proves it's physically possible. The keynote teaches it. The books codify it. The podcast sustains it. The conference makes it collective.

The Real Story

Samantha Fast holds a BCom from Queen's University and an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business. Her corporate career spanned commercial real estate — appraisals, leasing, financial analysis, REIT management. In 2021, she left it to build SAvvy full time.

She discovered competitive Latin dance in 2011, earning a Gold Medal nationally and Silver internationally in team bachata. Around 2015 she fell for Kizomba and Urban Kiz. When the pandemic went dark, that years-deep familiarity with the music became the foundation for teaching herself to DJ — no formal training, just a bedroom and the decision to stop waiting for permission. Within months, she had a Paris booking.

The through line underneath all of it: a lifetime navigating rooms — boardrooms, dance stages, DJ lineups — that weren't built for her. She stopped playing small. She's here to show others how to do the same.

Brand Rules — Non-Negotiable
  • Always SAvvy — capital S, capital A. Never "Savvy," never "savvy."
  • Tagline "Sound. Soul. Self." is permanent. It does not get workshopped.
  • The through line is always the complete phrase: "Finding Your Frequency: Stop Playing Small and Start Living Life at Full Volume."
  • Handle is unified across every platform: @samanthasavvyofficial.
  • Lead with international bestselling author (Voices of the 21st Century) — this credential goes first.
  • Lead with international DJ across 9 countries — always name the countries when the format allows.
02

The Room She's Building For

People don't buy "empowerment." They buy relief from a specific, felt exhaustion.

"I have spent years making myself smaller to keep the peace, stay safe, or fit the expectations of people who needed me to be less than I am. I am exhausted. I don't know who I am outside of that smallness. And I am terrified that if I stop shrinking, I will lose everything."

That's the pain every SAvvy offer speaks to, at a different depth and price. The Boundary Blueprint addresses the first symptom — saying yes when you mean no. The books go deeper. The Mastermind and Intensive build the new identity. Speaking and the Conference turn it into something shared.

Point A — Where She Finds Them
  • Stuck, lost, uncertain — not living in full integrity or potential
  • Locked into the "bills cycle," meant for more but not feeling it
  • People-pleasers, disproportionately women
  • Corporate-ladder climbers unsatisfied with where they've landed
  • Living by a script — status quo, limiting beliefs, no visible alternative
Point B — Where She Takes Them
  • Impact, resonance, real connection
  • Passion and purpose that also pays the bills
  • Momentum — no more groundhog day
  • Freedom, peace, control
  • Excited to wake up, in charge of the story
Two Rooms, One Message
AudienceWho's In The RoomFee Range
Personal EmpowermentWomen's conferences, summits, leadership events, university women's groups, community organizations$2,500–$10,000
Corporate & LeadershipHR/L&D teams, DEI-adjacent initiatives, ERGs, professional associations in male-dominated industries$5,000–$25,000

Corporate framing note: lead with "authentic leadership," "executive presence," and "talent retention" — not DEI language. The content stays identical; the frame is what gets it booked.

03

The Position

Positioning Statement

Samantha SAvvy is the international DJ-turned-keynote-speaker who turned a dance floor into a movement — building her brand the way she builds a set: reading the room, owning the energy, and refusing to turn the music down.

The Category-of-One Case

No Canadian competitor holds this exact combination: international DJ + keynote speaker + international bestselling author, backed by a BCom (Queen's) and an MBA (Haskayne). Twelve-plus years of competitive dance gives her credentialed stage presence — not claimed, medalled. That's the moat.

Brand Personality
Unapologetic
States the pain plainly. Never softens a truth to make it more comfortable to hear.
Full Volume
Confident without performing confidence. Energy is earned, not projected.
Lived, Not Studied
Every framework comes from something she actually survived — not research she read about.
Soulful
Music and movement run underneath every message. It's felt, not just heard.
Disciplined
The story is emotional; the strategy behind it is not. Structure is always visible.
Room-Owning
Doesn't wait for permission to take the stage, the booth, or the boardroom seat.
What She Makes People Feel
She makes people feelNamed. Like someone finally said the exhausting part out loud.
She makes people think"Nobody is coming to give me permission. I have to take it."
She makes people say"I did the one thing I'd been postponing."
04

The Offer Ladder

Every price point solves the same exhaustion at a different depth. The $20 buyer is testing whether change is possible. The $2,000 buyer is investing in transformation. The $10,000 booker is buying the message for their whole room.

Logo System

The system has four lockups — textmark, icon-only logomark, and horizontal and stacked icon+wordmark combinations — each in five colorways built for a specific contrast context. Never recolour outside these five. Never stretch, rotate, or place one on a background that drops it below AA contrast. Minimum clear space: the height of the mark on all sides.

Imagery Style
  • Real performance and stage photography — DJ booth, keynote stage, dance history. No stock.
  • Slight dark vignette on hero images to protect text legibility over the Ink background.
  • Featured/blog images: object-fit: contain on near-black, never cover.
  • Behind-the-scenes DJ content stays unpolished on purpose — proof-of-concept over production value.
07

The Show

How the brand behaves in the wild — website, content cadence, and the stage itself.

Website Patterns Already Established
  • Dark, Ink-background pages with a single teal accent — consistent across every page in production
  • Eyebrow labels in uppercase mono/tracked type above every section heading
  • Teal ◆ diamond bullets, never default browser bullets
  • One CTA per section — never competing calls to action on the same screen
  • Scroll-reveal on entry, hero elements animate immediately on load
Weekly Content Rhythm
Mon — StoryPersonal narrative, raw and relatable. Goal: saves and DM shares, not likes.
Tue — EducationOne actionable insight from the Boundary Blueprint or Frequency framework.
Wed — DJ LifeBehind-the-scenes gig content. Proof-of-concept, not polish.
Thu — Podcast ClipThe week's most shareable 60-second moment.
Fri — ConversionOne clear CTA. Never more than one.
The Stage

One talk, two applications — the Personal Empowerment version and the Corporate/Leadership version share the same three-part framework (Voice, Rhythm, Volume) and the same lived material, differing only in opening story, examples, and close. She is the speaker and, whenever the room allows it, the DJ — filming both simultaneously builds the keynote reel and the DJ EPK in one pass.

08

The Contract

The rules that keep the brand recognizable no matter who's building the next piece of it.

Accessibility Standards
  • All web text must meet WCAG AA contrast — 4.5:1 body, 3:1 large text
  • Cream/White on Ink passes at all sizes. Teal Light on Ink passes at large sizes only — never for small body copy
  • Every image requires descriptive alt text
  • Phone numbers are real tel: links on mobile, never image-embedded
Approval Process
Daily content & socialDevon executes on brand voice guidelines — no per-post sign-off required
Newsletter copySamantha's own words, included verbatim — never rewritten
New offers / pricingSamantha sign-off before public launch
Website structural changesSamantha review on copy and visual changes
Logo use by third partiesWritten permission required — colorway must be approved variant
Brand Consistency Rules
  • Use only the approved logo files — never recreate the wordmark from memory or screenshot
  • Big Shoulders Display + Josefin Sans + JetBrains Mono is the complete type system — no substitutions
  • Every customer-facing document — proposal, invoice, email signature — carries the wordmark and samanthasavvy.com
  • All public photography is real project/performance work — no stock, no third-party imagery

End of Side B

This guide is a living reference, not a locked spec. Update the KPI strip and offer ladder at every quarterly review — everything else holds until Samantha says otherwise.
